One of my favourite places to visit, Okarito is one of the most significant areas for birdlife in New Zealand and home to the White Heron | Kōtuku nesting colony where birds travel from all over New Zealand to breed once a year. I love it here and will return many times in the future. Here are many of the shots I’ve taken in the area over my last few visits.
